Renewable Energy Sources
Rep. Jay Inslee talked about renewable energy sources, part of the energy legislation being considered by the House and Senate this month. The bill, which is expected to reach the House floor later today, includes a provision that requires electric utilities to produce 15 percent of their power by 2020 from renewable sources. Rep. Inslee supports the provision. He is also the co-author a new book, Apollo’s Fire: Igniting America’s Clean Energy Economy. He responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. close
