Secretary Mike Leavitt talked about new agreements between China and the U.S. that called for a greater U.S. role in inspecting Chinese food, feed, medical devices and drugs exported to the U.S. Two agreements were signed December 11. Secretary Leavitt was in Beijing December 8 to 11 and in Grand Epoch City December 12 and 13. He talked about the U.S.-China trade balance. He responded to telephone calls and email. close
