Kit Batten talked about U.S. climate change policy. On the previous day, the Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming held a post-Bali analysis to determine a viable policy option on global warming for the U.S. The final weekend of the two-week international conference produced a world-wide agreement to move forward on changing emission standards. Batten talked about the U.S. delegation’s initial opposition to the Bali agreement, its reversal, and whether continued cooperation with the international community can be expected. She responded to telephone calls and email. close
