Dick Morris talked about the book he wrote with Eileen McGann, Fleeced: How Barack Obama, Media Mockery of Terrorist Threats, Liberals Who Want to Kill Talk Radio, the Do-Nothing Congress, Companies That Help Iran, and Washington Lobbyists for Foreign Governments Are Scamming Us...and What to Do About It (Harper, June 24, 2008). In his book Dick Morris asserts that big business, big government, big labor, and lobbyists are promoting their self-serving agendas at the expense of the American people. In his presentation Mr. Morris detailed his criticism of presidential candidate Barack Obama’s proposals for health care, taxes, education, and talked extensively about combating terrorism. Other topics included the actions of Congress, the economy, Iran, liberal attacks against talk radio, energy policy, and the upcoming November 2008 elections. He responded to questions from audience members. This event, sponsored by the Oxonian Society, was held at the Cornell Club.
