Cheng Li and Frank Wu presented the results of the Committee of 100's 2007 parallel survey “American and Chinese Attitudes Toward Each Other.” John Zogby and Victor Yuan explained the survey methodology. The survey provides details of public opinion in both the United States and China on bilateral issues such as how people in the United States and China believe their governments should respond to product safety and climate concerns, military engagement in global problems, leadership in international affairs, the encroachment of civil liberties, and economic ties.
