Donald Ritchie talked about his book Electing FDR: The New Deal Campaign of 1932, published by University Press of Kansas. In his book Mr. Ritchie recounted the presidential election of 1932 that pitted Franklin Delano Roosevelt and his New Deal policy platform against the incumbent, Herbert Hoover. Mr. Ritchie followed the election from the primaries to the enactment of the New Deal. Mr. Richie responded to questions from the audience. close
