Hazel Edney talked about race as an issue in the 2008 presidential campaign. A video clip was shown of Ms. Edney asking Senator Hillary Clinton a question at a National Newspaper Publishers Association forum on Wednesday, March 5, 2008. She asked Senator Clinton about statements made about Barack Obama by her husband after the South Carolina primary. Senator Clinton told the forum she was “sorry if anyone was offended” about the comments and others made by those connected with her campaign. Ms. Edney talked about Senator Clinton’s remarks and about race as a factor in the 2008 presidential campaigns. She responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. close
