Chairman Reyes spoke to the press after a closed hearing by the House Select Intelligence Committee on the destruction of Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) videotapes made in 2002 of the interrogations of two al-Qaida suspects. He expressed his appreciation for all of the work done by intelligence agencies, but reiterated that the committee would not suspend its investigation. Following his prepared remarks he answered questions from members of the audience. close
