President Bush spoke about the Protect America Act which is set to expire February 16. The Senate passed new legislation yesterday and the House is considering the legislation today. He said that intelligence professionals must be able to monitor the communications of suspected terrorists. He was accompanied by Michael McConnell, director of the Office of National Intelligence. close
