He talked about the relationship between race, racism, and racial paranoia and why it is difficult to talke about race. Professor Jackson talked about the current state of race matters in the United States and used recent events such as Hurricane Katrina, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, and comedian Dave Chappelle walking away from his television show to illustrate the concept of racial paranoia.
