It tracks the battle for Indian independence, recounting Gandhi’s campaigns against racial discrimination in South Africa and India, his attention to relations between Muslims and non-Muslims, and an examination of Gandhi’s strategies of non-violent resistance. During the event, Professor Gandhi read selections from his book and answered questions from audience members.
