The New Blue Media Theodore Hamm talked about his book, The New Blue Media. The book describes the increasing prevalence of liberal media arising during the Bush presidency. He profiles The Onion, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Air America, MoveOn, and Daily Kos, among others, and describes their impact on the political scene.

Following his remarks, he responded to questions from the audience.

Theodore Hamm is the founding editor of the Brooklyn Rail. He has written for the Los Angeles Times, The Nation, and Truthdig, among other publications. His book Rebel and a Cause covered the politics of the death penalty in postwar California. Currently, he’s an associate professor of urban studies at Metropolitan College of New York. close
