Terror and Consent
Philip Bobbitt is a senior lecturer at the University of Texas Law School. Has has been the senior director for strategic planning and the director of intelligence at the National Security Council. Mr. Bobbitt has also been a counselor to the State Department and the White House on matters of law and intelligence. Philip Bobbitt talked about his book, Terror and Consent. In his book he argued that the U.S.'s dominance in the world is the primary cause of global terrorism and said that the U.S. should develop a new strategy to combat terrorists. He also said that the U.S. made a mistake by not making an effort to change the laws that govern the way it conducts its foreign policy in regard to terrorism.
