Hilary Synnott served as British High Commissioner in Pakistan from 2000 to 2003 and as Deputy High Commissioner in India from 1993 to 1996. He served as the British Diplomat who ran Southern Iraq for the Coalition Provisional, along with U.S representative Paul Bremer. Mr. Synnott is currently a consulting senior fellow at The International Institute for Strategic Studies in London.
