Representative Tim Walberg talked about the House Republican response to the current energy “crisis” and responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. The House Republicans announced a series of discharge petitions listing proposals to increase energy productivity. Rep. Walberg’s proposal, the No More Excuses Energy Act, was introduced this week and looks at ways to increase production by opening new refineries, funding projects to increase alternative sources of energy (wind, nuclear, coal), and opening up new areas of the U.S. to look for oil. close
