Alex Kershaw talked about his book Escape from the Deep: The Epic Story of a Legendary Submarine and Her Courageous Crew (Da Capo Press; April 28, 2008). The book is about the only Americans in history who survived a sunken submarine, a few members of the crew of the USS Tang which was sunk in World War II. Mr. Kershaw was interviewed at BookExpo America 2008 in the Los Angeles Convention Center. close
