The Warrior: A Mother’s Story of a Son at War is Frances Richey’s collection of poetry that reflects her feelings of loss and anxiety while her son served two tours in Iraq as a Green Beret. Ms. Richey read from her work at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Women’s Club in West Point, New York. Her son, Major Ben Richey, appeared with her. They responded to questions from the audience.
