Marwan Muasher talked about The Arab Center: The Promise of Moderation. He argues in the book that moderate-minded leaders in the Arab world are losing ground to those whose views are more extreme. He says that the United States needs to do more to increase the influence of these moderate players. Mr. Muasher was joined by New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman and former U.S. ambassador to Israel Martin Indyk. Following their remarks the panelists responded to audience members' questions.
