Representatives Neil Abercrombie and John Peterson talked about President Bush’s lift on Monday of the executive ban on offshore drilling and call for Congress to take action on the issue. They also responded to telephone calls and electronic mail.

Representatives Abercrombie and Peterson and some other members of Congress have answered the President by forming a bi-partisan House Energy Working Group to create a national energy plan that includes production of more domestic oil. The group held their first meeting yesterday. close
