The committee continued its series of hearings on the nearly 2,300 U.S. servicemen unaccounted for in Southeast Asia following the Vietnam War. The committee has been investigating reports that U.S. servicemen are still alive and being held captive in Southeast Asia. The Department of Defense has previously stated there is little credible evidence of U.S. servicemen still alive in Southeast Asia. Witnesses included representatives of the U.S. office in Vietnam investigating reports of POW/MIA’s, and representatives of veterans organizations. close
