Mr. Falcoff discussed relations between Argentina and the U.S. on the day Argentina’s president was scheduled to address a joint session of Congress. He said U.S.-Argentina relations were excellent due to the efforts by the president of Argentina to propel his country into the first world. He gives a brief history of that president, then describes the joint meetings and what is expected from them and what were the key issues between the two nations. Other topics were the structure of the political parties in Argentina, possible military threats and oil imports. close
