Mr. Hostetter, chairman of the Cable in the Classroom non-profit organization, spoke at a press conference in the National Press Club to announce the release of a survey of the extent of cable television use in American classrooms. He said the Cable in the Classroom programming reaches nearly ten million secondary school students in the U.S. He detailed the extent of the Cable in the Classroom program, which includes teacher training and student participation in the education goals of the project. Mr. Hostetter and Ms. Kamil responded to questions from the audience on the education program following his prepared remarks. close
