John Morton Blum, author of sixteen books on American history, addressed the group at the National Archives on the subject of his latest book, Years of Discord: American Politics and Society, 1961-1974. Thomas Edsall, author and a political writer for the Washington Post, talked about his book, Chain Reaction: The Impact of Race, Rights and Taxes on American Politics. They each shared their thoughts on the upcoming presidential election of 1992 and took questions from the audience. close
