President Bush spoke in the Department of Justice during the ceremony marking the swearing-in of Attorney General William Barr. The president lauded Mr. Barr’s record in the Department of Justice in his remarks. Mr. Barr replaces Dick Thornburgh as Attorney General, who resigned in order to run for a Senate seat in Pennsylvania. Attorney General Barr spoke briefly following his oath to thank President Bush in his leadership in the fight against crime. close
