The National Advisory Council on Social Security Issues issued its final recommendations on health care and the social security system. The report includes issues such as access to health care and health insurance plans for the future. The council is a bipartisan group of government officials and private citizens appointed every four years by the secretary of health and human services. The group is charged with recommending changes in the social security insurance system. close
