The Coalition for America’s Children, representing a number of child advocacy groups, held a news conference to kick off a national non-partisan campaign. The effort will be to place children at the top of the public policy agenda in 1992 and beyond. The focus of the news conference was the release of a report entitled: “The State of the Child.” The report includes findings from a survey which details how Americans feel about children’s issues, and how likely those issues will impact voters in the 1992 elections. close
