Oral arguments were presented before the California Supreme Court on the subject of reapportionment. When Governor Pete Wilson vetoed several reapportionment proposals from the state legislature, the process went before the state court. California will send seven additional representatives to Congress for a total of 52, making it the largest congressional delegation. close
