Dreadnought: Britain, Germany, and the War
Mr. Massie talked about his recently published book, Dreadnought: Britain, Germany and the Coming of the Great War, published by Random House. The book focuses on the naval race and diplomatic discourse between Great Britain and Germany, and how they helped to cause World War One. “Dreadnoughts” were early twentieth century battleships, which were extremely fast and heavily armed, built by these two great naval powers. close
