Senate Foreign Relations committee heard testimony on what solutions are possible for Soviet scientists since the dissolution of the former Soviet Union. Assistant to the President for Scientist and technology Allan Bromley and State Department Coordinator Robert Gallucci are witnesses to the committee. Committee members of Congress fear that the scientific community within the former Soviet Union may take high-paying positions in countries trying to develop nuclear weapons. close
