The University of California at Los Angeles Political Science deparment sponsored a forum on the races for the two Senate seats in California. Elections for both seats will be held in November, 1992. Representatives of several of the candidates for the Senate seats discussed their candidates' campaigns and the political atmosphere surrounding the elections. The two seats up for election are currently occupied by retiring Sen. Alan Cranston, and Sen. John Seymour, who gained the position after Sen. Pete Wilson resigned to run for the California governorship. close
