Incumbency Advantage and Accountability

Speakers at the Sixth Annual Conference of the Federalist Society discussed the political and financial advantages of incumbent members of Congress and whether congressional perks, constituent casework, and interest-group contributions make members of Congress less accountable and more insulated from having to defend their policy choices.
