This portion of the 1992 meeting of the National Governors' Association was on the topic of Interstate Shipment of Hazardous Waste. The Governors adopted recommendations for both differential fees and bans on waste coming into a state form beyond it’s boarders. the Governors agreed to develop more details on when bans on interstate waste would be justified. The two amendments that were voted on near the end of this session were not agreed to. close
