Some of the major figures involved in the Watergate investigation held a reunion on Capitol Hill. The event attracted elected officials, congressional staff, and representatives of the media. At the time of the committee investigation of Watergate, Senator Daniel Inouye (D-HI) and Governor Lowell Weicker (I-CT) were on the Senate Committee on Presidential Campaign Activities.
