The guests discussed the Democratic National Convention which ended last night. Todd Mason commented on the surprising withdrawal of Ross Perot from the presidential race. Mason was surprised that he quit, claiming that Mr. Perot usually sticks it out but pointed out that the campaign was in disarray. Mr. Limbaugh commented on what he thought was the Illusion the cleaning up of the city area where the convention took place and runaway Liberalism and that the Democrats were moving to the Center. Mr. Caldwell commented on having the convention in New York City and that the Party was attempting to bring a lot of diversity together. Other comments concerned VP nominee Al Gore’s speech and Perot’s withdrawal. Callers asked about narrow media analysis and should congressional members tell how they going to vote if the elction ends up in the House of Representatives. close
