The Democratic presidential and vice presidential nominees set out for an eight state campaign tour by bus on the day following the Democratic National Convention in New York. Travelling in an eight bus caravan and accompanied by their wives, campaign personnel, and a security entourage, the candidates spoke to supporters at several stops in the tour including a General Electric aerospace plant in Camden, NJ, and a United Steelworkers' Hall in Coatsville, PA. The candidates' wives greeted supporters and posed for pictures during a campaign stop at the Central Market in York, Pennsylvania. close
