Senator Bob Casey talked about Congressional efforts to investigate the accidental electrocution-related deaths of U.S. troops in Iraq and injury of possibly dozens more. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. At least two of Senator Casey’s constituents died by electrocution in Iraq, and the Senator met last Friday with one of the contractors, KBR, whose electrical work is alleged to have resulted in deaths. Senator Casey is scheduled to be a witness today at a House Oversight and Government Reform hearing into these electrical systems in Iraq and the Defense Department’s oversight of contractors. close
