Some of the relief efforts were shown in the aftermath of Hurricane Gustav, which hit Louisiana earlier in the week. Scenes included a staging area for relief supplies managed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) located in Carville, Louisiana, just south of Baton Rouge and a site for distribution of those relief supplies manned by members of the Louisiana National Guard in Baton Rouge. Residents of Baton Rouge talked about their situations and how they found out about the distribution site as they picked up supplies. close
