Michele Dunne spoke about U.S. relations with Libya and a recent meeting between Secretary of State Rice and Libyan leader Colonel Muammar al-Qaddafi marking the culmination of five-years of diplomacy between the nations. Libya was in the process of having normalized relations after Colonel Qaddafi renounced terrorism and his pursuit of nuclear and chemical weapons in 2003.
