Sally Ride talked the book she co-authored with Tam O’Shaughnessy, Exploring Our Solar System, published by Crown Books for Young Readers. In their book Ride and O’Shaughnessy give readers a tour of the solar system, explaining the composition and origin of each planet supplemented with diagrams, charts, and photos from space. Following her remarks Dr. Ride responded to questions from the audience.
