Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, co-author with Mark Warren of The Good Fight (Putnam: May 1, 2008), talked about his upbringing and his life in politics. Senator Reid grew up poor in Searchlight, Nevada, served as head of the Nevada Gaming Commission, and eventually made his way to Washington, D.C., as a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives. The guest interviewer was former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle. close
