Iran's President Speaks to U.N.

Barbara Slavin talked about yesterday’s speech by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the United Nations and responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. In recent days, Iran’s President has asserted that their nuclear program is meant to be used to provide energy for the country and not manufacture a nuclear weapon. This comes as the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency this week warned that because of a lack of access by Iran to investigators, they could not determine if Iran was hiding some nuclear activities.
