Charles Jones looks at the media’s coverage of the Iraq War to find out their motivations and biases. He looks at the affects of embedding reporters in combat brigades, the use of unnamed sources, political bias in journalistic standards, and the scaling back of coverage since 2007 on the reliability of the reporting coming out of Iraq. Mr. Jones interviewed soldiers, military officials, and members of the media working in Iraq. He showed a video that detailed the process he used in writing the book. He answered questions from the audience.
