Governor Brian Schweitzer talked about his views on what President-Elect Obama’s energy policy should be. The governor is the vice chairman of the Western Governors Association which was meeting in Washington, D.C., to present the association’s energy policy to the Obama transition team. Topics included developing a smart transmission grid, energy storage, alternative energy production, oil drilling, consumer reforms, and reforms to the automotive industry. He responded to telephone calls and electronic mail.
