Andrew Chaikin talked about his book, A Passion for Mars: Intrepid Explorers of the Red Planet, published by Abrams. He talked about the history of Mars exploration starting with the end of the 19th century up to the present day. He also talked about the myths and theories that have surrounded Mars and how they changed as space exploration became more advanced. Mr. Chaikin showed photos of Mars during the presentation, and then, he responded to audience members' question.
