Leo Tilman talked about the origins of the current financial crisis and how to radically redesign the financial system to make it fit to survive. Mr. Tilman, president of strategic advisory firm L.M. Tilman and Co., was formerly the chief institutional strategist at Bear Stearns, which recently collapsed and was bought by JP Morgan. Leo Tilman is the author of Financial Darwinism: Create Value or Self-Destruct in a World of Risk (Wiley; November 10, 2008). He was joined in discussion by Tom Gallagher. Heidi Crebo-Rediker moderated. They responded to questions from members of the audience.
