British Prime Minister Gordon Brown made a formal statement before members of the House of Commons about his announcement the previous day in Baghdad that the United Kingdom mission in Iraq would end no later than May 31, 2009. Britain currently has 4,100 troops in Iraq and has the second largest military coalition after the United States. Prime Minister Brown answered questions from members of his party and the opposition. close
