The U.S. Army’s Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps was shown practicing for Barack Obama’s inauguration at its home base at Fort Myer in Arlington, Virginia. The unit, formed in 1960, has marched in every inaugural parade since John F. Kennedy’s in 1963. Sgt. Major Gregory Rock talked about appearing in the parade and the units preparations. He also talked about the history of the unit and some historical pictures were shown. close
