Chairman Barney Frank spoke about his agenda for the House Financial Services Committee for the next year. In his remarks he outlined proposed regulatory powerd for the Federal Reserve, restrictions on subprime lending, increased coordination with financial allies in Europe and Asia, debt relief, and expanding consumer protection. He also said that the Federal government will take a more active role in building houses and keeping people in their homes. close
