President Obama and others spoke to members of Congress, senior administration officials, business leaders, policy makers and economists at a fiscal summit to examine fiscal responsibility and long-term economic planning. In his remarks President Obama said he hoped to reduce the U.S. budget deficit by half in the next four years. He also warned that the country would face another economic crisis if it did not address its debt problems soon. close
