Civil rights activists, scholars, and policy analysts gathered to discuss their thoughts and insights on the challenges facing African-Americans. Tavis Smiley moderated a question and answer session with the panelists. Topics included President Barack Obama and the effects of the new administration on the social, political, and economic future of African-American communities. Mr. Smiley also talked about his book Accountable: Making America as Good as Its Promise, published by Atria. The program also included the video message from President Barack Obama.
